STOP the

"Supporting renewable energy
that does not sacrifice our environment"
There is an effort underway to designate as Wilderness many areas now threatened by Big Solar/Big Wind Industries and their transmission corridors. Green Path North is a transmission line proposed by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. Those of us who oppose Green Path North now have a genuine opportunity to make a difference. LADWP’s Green Path North transmission line threatens a portion of Big Morongo Canyon Preserve.

Designating this and others areas as Wilderness will make it much more difficult to get approval for these devastating Big Energy projects. The Alliance for Responsible Energy Policy opposes the exploitation of OUR open public and private lands by Big Energy. Use the form below to take action and join us in telling our lawmakers you would like to see Big Morongo Canyon and other threatened areas permanently protected from destructive energy projects like Green Path North.
